Job summary

SPW Legal Recruitment is assisting a highly regarded national law firm to recruit a senior commercial disputes lawyer in Brisbane. You will advise on a broad range of disputes, from contractual and regulatory matters to complex court proceedings, mediations and settlements, working within a national team.

You will mentor junior lawyers, build strong client relationships and contribute to strategic case management while enjoying flexible, hybrid working arrangements and ongoing professional

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PAE in commercial litigation or disputes.
• Strong drafting skills and commercial judgement.
• Experience managing complex matters and building client relationships.
• Collaborative approach and ability to mentor junior lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Advise on a broad range of commercial disputes, including contractual and shareholder disputes, regulatory matters, negligence, misleading and deceptive conduct, and property and construction disputes.
• Involved in all stages of litigation, from strategy through to court proceedings, mediations and settlements.
• Mentor junior lawyers and build strong client relationships.

You'll be involved in all stages of litigation, from strategy through to court proceedings, mediations and settlements, while also mentoring junior lawyers and building strong client relationships.

The Right Person
