Job summary

Lead Group in Sydney CBD is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Litigation & Dispute Resolution team. You will take ownership of a varied commercial and civil disputes matter load, advising clients and supervising junior lawyers.

Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, managing discovery, attending hearings, and developing dispute strategies with Partners. A NSW practicing certificate and strong commercial judgment are essential.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ post‑admission experience in commercial or civil litigation.
• NSW practising certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• Strong drafting skills and knowledge of court practice and procedure.
• Ability to independently manage matters, deadlines and client expectations.
• Commercial judgement and confident communication and negotiation skills.
• Collaborative approach with Partners, counsel and clients.
• Experience in advocacy, ADR, mentoring or business development is highly regarded.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Associate to join its Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Sydney CBD.

This opportunity offers a broad mix of commercial and civil disputes, with a particular focus on contractual claims and Australian Consumer Law matters involving motor vehicles. You will manage matters from initial advice through to resolution, combining hands‑on litigation with practical, commercially focused advice.

The role
