Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, contracts or pre‑contract management in construction/engineering.
• Proven ability to manage tendering and bid processes commercially.
• Strong understanding of contract law, risk allocation and governance.
• Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial leadership during bid preparation, reviews, negotiations and project acquisition.
• Develop commercial strategies to support growth, profitability and risk management.
• Identify and manage commercial, contractual and financial risks across pre‑contract lifecycle.
• Review contractual terms with clients, subcontractors and partners.
• Establish governance frameworks and approval processes for commercial decisions.
• Collaborate with estimating and operations to reflect risks and obligations in bids.
• Advise senior leadership on commercial matters and risk exposures.
• Monitor market trends and industry practices to enhance performance.
