Job summary

Zinfra Group is seeking a Commercial Lead to support delivery of a major infrastructure project in Australia. You will partner with operational teams, subcontractors and the client to protect value, manage commercial risk and drive strong contract outcomes in a lump-sum environment.

You will lead commercial strategy, advise project teams, strengthen governance and mentor stakeholders while building commercial capability across the business.

Qualifications

• Proven commercial leadership experience within energy, utilities, construction or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing complex contracts, variations, claims and commercial risk during delivery.
• Experience partnering with clients and subcontractors with strong governance and compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quantity Surveying, Finance or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial strategy across a major infrastructure project, protecting value and driving contract outcomes.
• Manage client and subcontractor relationships, negotiate commercial outcomes and resolve issues.
• Administer contractual mechanisms, including notices, variations, payment claims and change management.
• Identify risks and opportunities, develop mitigation strategies and support performance objectives.
• Partner with Project Managers, Engineers and Delivery leaders to strengthen commercial decision‑making.
• Oversee contract administration resources and reporting, ensuring compliance and controls.
• Champion continuous improvement of commercial processes and best practices.
