Amida Recruit AU is seeking a Commercial Lead / Associate Director for a major Australian civil infrastructure project based in Cooma, NSW. The role includes forecasting, cost analysis, and contract governance, with strong leadership across a small, focused team.

Ideal candidates have 10–20+ years in quantity surveying or related fields, with experience on large infrastructure programs, and the ability to guide scope, cost forecasts and financial reporting from early planning through delivery.

Qualifications

• 10–20+ years in quantity surveying or commercial management.
• Experience with major civil/infrastructure projects.
• Ability to forecast costs and manage budgets.
• Strong contract administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cost forecasting, budgeting, and rate analysis.
• Review drawings, forecasts, and project documentation.
• Define, refine and validate project scope.
• Prepare variations, progress claims and contract documentation.
• Provide financial and contractual advice to stakeholders.
• Participate in forensic cost reviews and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with project engineers, planners and commercial managers.
• Analyse drawings and scope for accurate forecasts.
