Job summary

Amida Recruitment seeks a Commercial Lead / Associate Director for a major civil infrastructure project in Cooma, NSW. This 12-month+ contract role offers an ASAP start, Monday to Friday with accommodation provided and potential DIDO/FIFO access to Canberra.

You will focus on forecasting, rate analysis, cost breakdowns, and defining scope, collaborating with project leadership to evolve scope as the project progresses.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or Engineering (civil infrastructure).
• Experience with forensic cost analysis and contract administration in large projects.
• Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills are essential.
• Knowledge of cost management software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed cost forecasting, budgeting and rate analysis for major civil packages.
• Review drawings and forecasts to refine project scope and cost baselines.
• Prepare variations, progress claims and contract documentation.
• Provide financial and contractual advice to project stakeholders.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners and commercial managers.
