Job summary

Kinetic IT is seeking a Commercial Manager in Melbourne to provide practical commercial advice across major customer opportunities, contracts and corporate transactions. You will lead the commercial response to sourcing activities, including RFTs, RFIs and RFQs, and help shape commercial positions aligned with our risk appetite.

You will review and negotiate complex agreements with customers, subcontractors and partners, develop qualifications and mitigation strategies, and support the delivery

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial, contracts or procurement roles with ICT services.
• Ability to review and negotiate customer, subcontractor and partner agreements.
• Strong commercial judgement and risk management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and clear communication for commercial and non-commercial audiences.
• Experience with ICT services agreements valued at $3 million or more.

Responsibilities

• Act as the commercial lead for customer sourcing activities and negotiating strategies.
• Review, draft and negotiate complex customer, subcontractor, partner and corporate agreements.
• Provide practical commercial advice to bid teams and stakeholders balancing risk and objectives.
• Identify contractual and commercial risks and develop mitigations.
• Support resolution of significant contractual issues with contract management and legal teams.
• Contribute to development of commercial templates, playbooks and training.
• Work with operational teams to transition negotiated contracts into delivery.
