Job summary

Harmony Australasia seeks an experienced Commercial Manager for the Eva Copper Mine project in Queensland. Based at the Brisbane project office, you will establish and oversee commercial, finance systems and governance to support readiness and operations.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, cost control, management accounting, and reporting; supervise the commercial team; manage procurement and contract administration; and provide strategic commercial input to executive leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA/CA qualification desirable.
• Proven leadership of commercial/finance teams in mining.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and reporting experience.
• Experience implementing ERP and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish site commercial, finance and reporting systems.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost control and reporting.
• Provide commercial input to operations and governance.
• Lead procurement and contract administration and approvals.
• Develop reporting frameworks for management decision-making.
• Mentor and develop commercial/finance teams.
