Job summary

Urban Grounds & Gardens Pty Ltd in Sydney seeks an experienced Project Manager – Landscape Construction to lead commercial landscape projects from mobilisation to completion. You will manage budgets, contracts, and subcontractors while ensuring safety and quality across softscape, hardscape, irrigation and civil works.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication and a track record of delivering multiple projects on time and within budget in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction project management, preferably landscape construction.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and budgets.
• Strong understanding of WHS and risk management.
• Proven leadership and people management capability.
• Experience with subcontractor procurement and contract administration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, planning and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from mobilisation to practical completion, on time and within spec.
• Own project budgets, forecasting, variations and margin management.
• Oversee contract obligations, documentation and subcontractor procurement.
• Lead site teams and subcontractors to drive accountability and performance.
• Champion safety, SWMS compliance and site requirements.
• Plan programs, coordinate resources and manage competing priorities.
• Maintain strong relationships with head contractors, clients and suppliers.
• Ensure quality workmanship and smooth handovers.
