Job summary

Perigon Group in Sydney’s Western Suburbs, NSW seeks a Commercial Finance Manager focused on FP&A and commercial support within a complex construction business. You will drive consolidated reporting, long-term planning, modelling, budgeting and forecasting, while partnering with stakeholders across the group.

The ideal candidate is a CA/CPA with experience in project-based environments, strong communication, and a track record of business partnering.

Qualifications

• You are a CA/CPA qualified FP&A professional with experience in complex environments.
• Experience in project-based environments (engineering, construction, renewables, etc.) is valued.
• Strong communication and proven business partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide FP&A and commercial support to the group with consolidat ed reporting.
• Lead long-term planning, modelling, budgeting and forecasting (7-year horizon).
• Deliver finance leadership, stakeholder management and commercial analysis.
• Support corporate modelling and ad-hoc analysis/presentations.
• Contribute to M&A/contract/tender evaluation and cost/revenue analysis.

Commercial Finance Manager - Construction

Perigon Group – Sydney Western Suburbs NSW

Reporting into the Head of Commercial Finance of this large, complex construction business, you'll play an integral role in providing FP&A and commercial support to the wider group, in a highly diverse and dynamic team environment.

Specifically, you'll drive consolidated management reporting, analysis and insights, long-term (7-year) planning, modelling, budgeting and forecasting, finance leadership/ business partnering/ stakeholder management; corporate modeling support and various other ad-hoc analysis and presentation when necessary. This role is also central to business cases.

You'll also play a critical role in the long-term strategic planning & commercial analysis (M&A, contract/tender evaluation, cost transformation, revenue analysis) and ongoing management (as well as improvement) of finance systems contributing to these areas

About You

You are a CA/CPA qualified commercial finance/FP&A professional, with relevant experience from within a complex environment. Experience within a project based environment such as engineering, construction, renewables, mining, telecom, etc. is highly regarded but non-essential. Strong communication and track record of business partnering is essential.
