Job summary

Goodman Fielder Pty Limited invites a Commercial Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for permanent placement. You will partner with Sales, Marketing and Category to translate financial data into actionable insights, strengthening business decisions and profitability across our Food Ingredients portfolio.

You will deliver month-end reporting, build financial models, and contribute to budgeting, forecasting and S&OP processes while collaborating with Finance,

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial finance, financial analysis or finance business partnering.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with a commercially focused mindset.
• Confidence communicating insights and influencing stakeholders.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales, Marketing and Category teams to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, Strategic Planning and S&OP processes.
• Deliver month-end reporting and analyse pricing, volume, margins and business performance.
• Develop financial models and business cases for new products, pricing and commercial investments.
• Analyse promotional performance, trade spend and product profitability to support decision-making.
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
