Job summary

Coles Group Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Finance Business Partners for 9-month contract opportunities across Commercial, Operations and FP&A teams. You will partner with business leaders to turn financial insights into meaningful action, drive performance, and influence strategic decisions.

Candidates should be CA/CPA qualified with a track record in retail/FMCG finance, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships and present clear analyses to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification with experience across Commercial, Operational or FP&A in a large retail/FMCG environment.
• Experience developing business cases and financial models to support investments and growth.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner across functions.
• Strong financial understanding and ability to interpret data and give practical recommendations.
• Experience using forecasts and performance measures to identify opportunities and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Turn financial insights into actionable business recommendations for commercial and FP&A initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and influence decisions.
• Provide commercial analysis to support strategic investments and risk management.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and reporting to drive business performance.
