Job summary

hummgroup's Credit & Risk team is seeking a Commercial Collections Officer in Sydney to recover overdue commercial contracts and minimize losses. You will bring litigation experience, build strong relationships, and work both independently and with the team.

Daily duties include managing vendor relationships, overseeing arrears, pursuing compliant collections, case management of complex delinquencies, initiating legal actions, skip tracing, and negotiating resolutions with clients.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Commercial Collections Environment.
• Knowledge of the commercial asset financing industry in Australia.
• Understanding of the litigation process.

The Credit & Risk team at flexicommercial is responsible for managing the end-to-end credit life cycle of our customers. The purpose of the Commercial Collections Officer role is to recover overdue Commercial Financial Contracts and mitigate loss to the business. This role is ideal for an experienced collections professional who has litigation experience, can build strong relationships and thrives both independently and within a team.

• Demonstrated experience in a Commercial Collections Environment (2+ years)
• Knowledge and understanding of the commercial asset financing industry in Australia
• Understanding of the litigation process
• Computer literacy including MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong verbal and written, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively autonomously or in a team environment.
• Proven dispute resolution and negotiation skills
