Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in analytics, insights, commercial finance or a related role, ideally within retail, QSR or FMCG
• A strong quantitative and analytical foundation, supported by qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline
• Proven experience providing reporting, analysis and insights that support commercial decision making
• Strong capability in data preparation, cleaning, analysis and exploration of large datasets
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in Alteryx, SQL and/or Python highly regarded
• Experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Strong commercial acumen and an understanding of sales, margin, pricing and ROI
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex analysis to non-technical audiences
• Confidence presenting insights and recommendations to senior leaders and other key stakeholders
• A demonstrated ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that influence strategy, customer experience and commercial outcomes

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Marketing, Customer and other key business teams to provide analysis and insights that support informed, data-driven decision making
• Own the Finance sales forecasting model for the 500+ restaurant network, supporting annual budgeting and monthly reforecasting while incorporating the marketing calendar and restaurant network outlook
• Analyse business performance across restaurants and channels, including on-premise, app, kiosk and delivery, with a focus on sales, traffic, margin and key performance drivers
• Analyse product and channel mix, sales trends and cost movements to identify drivers of margin performance
• Review menu pricing and provide commercial analysis and recommendations on potential pricing changes, including modelling the expected impact on the business
• Provide analytical support for product launches, trials, marketing campaigns and category reviews
• Evaluate performance and ROI to identify what worked, what didn't and where future opportunities exist
• Analyse customer behaviour and purchasing patterns across different cohorts, including frequency, lifetime value, segmentation, product selection and margin contribution
• Develop dashboards, reporting and other analytical tools that make complex information easy to understand
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leaders and franchisees
