Commercial Analyst – Sales & Operations

At Pace Farm, we’re proud of our strong family values that have guided us since the 1970s. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into one of Australia’s largest egg producers, delivering fresh, quality eggs to communities nationwide.

As Australia’s leading supplier of farm-fresh eggs and egg products, we’re committed to quality, innovation and continuous improvement. With exciting growth ahead, there’s never been a better time to join the Pace Farm team.

About The Role

We are looking for a Commercial Analyst – Sales & Operations to join our Finance team at our Norwest Head Office.

In this hands‑on commercial role, you’ll partner closely with our Sales, Farming and Finance teams to provide meaningful analysis and insights that support business performance and decision‑making. You’ll analyse sales, customer and product profitability, egg production and farm performance to identify opportunities, manage risks and support continued growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with Sales and Farming teams to track weekly business performance and provide clear, actionable insights
  • Analyse sales performance across customers, channels, products, price, volume and mix to identify opportunities and risks
  • Support pricing, promotional, tender and customer investment decisions through commercial analysis and financial modelling
  • Monitor customer and product profitability to identify opportunities to improve revenue, margin and trading performance
  • Analyse farm performance, including eggs produced, feed consumption and mortality, to identify opportunities and risks
  • Manage month-end activities across relevant sales and operations areas, including budget and forecast reviews, variance analysis and commentary
  • Support the preparation of capital expenditure submissions and commercial business cases, including financial modelling and benefits tracking
  • Support the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process in partnership with Sales, Farming and Finance stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the wider Finance team to improve reporting, processes, controls and business partnering capability
  • Undertake ad‑hoc analysis and project‑related work as required
About You

Are you a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful business insights?

You’re naturally curious, analytical and enjoy understanding the story behind the numbers. You spot trends, ask the right questions and can translate complex information into clear, practical insights that help others make better decisions.

You’re a self‑starter who can work independently, take ownership of your work and confidently manage priorities, while also enjoying collaboration and partnering with teams across the business. You bring strong commercial thinking and financial expertise and are motivated by making a real impact.

Ready to turn your insights into real business impact?

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics or a related discipline
  • CA or CPA qualified, or currently working towards qualification
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a commercial or analytical role within FMCG, agriculture, manufacturing, retail or a similar environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex sales, financial and operational data
  • Commercial understanding of revenue, margin, pricing, volume, mix, cost drivers and customer profitability
  • Experience supporting commercial decision‑making through analysis and financial modelling
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with financial, reporting or business intelligence systems
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and risks
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with Sales, Operations and Finance teams
Why Join Pace Farm?
  • Join one of Australia’s largest and most recognised egg producers
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across Sales, Farming and Finance
  • Play a meaningful role in driving commercial performance and business decisions
  • Access ongoing learning and development opportunities
