Job description

About Pace Farm

At Pace Farm, we’re proud of our strong family values that have guided us since the 1970s. From humble beginnings, we've grown into one of Australia’s largest egg producers, delivering the freshest, tastiest eggs nationwide. As the leading supplier of farm‑fresh eggs and egg products, our mission is to continue setting the standard in the industry by valuing our people and equipping them with the skills to deliver top‑quality products and service. With egg‑citing growth and expansion on the horizon, now’s a great time to join us and be part of our continued success!

About the Role

You’ll be at the heart of farm operations – caring for birds, maintaining shed routines, supporting your team, and ensuring everything runs smoothly day‑to‑day. From rearing chicks from day old to managing manure systems and supporting packing processes, this is a boots‑on, sleeves‑up kind of job with real impact.

Key Responsibilities
  • Checking bird health and ensuring they have access to feed and water
  • Managing or assisting with the daily farm routine across multiple sheds
  • Leading or supporting a small team, including a 2IC, in a hands‑on environment
  • Ensuring vaccination schedules are followed
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment (including using pressure washers)
  • Overseeing manure management and assisting with packing operations as needed
About You

Ready to trade the city grind for fresh country air and a role that truly matters? At Pace Farm, we’re on the lookout for passionate, hands‑on leaders to step into Farm Manager and Assistant Farm Manager roles across a few of our farms including West Wyalong, Regional Victoria and near Windsor in Sydney. Whether you’re a seasoned Farm Manager, an Assistant Manager ready to step up, or a team leader eager to break into agri‑leadership, this is your opportunity to grow with one of Australia’s leading egg producers.

We’re looking for people who don’t just talk the talk – they lead from the front. You’ll be someone who’s not afraid to get your boots muddy, roll up your sleeves, and pitch in wherever needed. You thrive in a hands‑on role, whether that’s checking on birds, fixing machinery, or guiding your team through a busy day. You’re proactive, practical, and calm under pressure – a natural leader who knows how to motivate and support others while keeping things running smoothly.

And because we know a tree change is better together, where possible we’re happy to support your partner in finding work opportunities nearby too.
