Job summary

Pace Farm in Euroa VIC is seeking a Farm Supervisor to lead our laying and rearing poultry team. You will supervise 3–4 staff, drive safe, efficient operations and uphold animal welfare standards.

This on-site, permanent role offers a 4-on/4-off roster, a starting salary of AUD 79,423, and a collaborative work environment with opportunities to grow within Australia’s largest egg producer. You’ll monitor bird health, biosecurity and data records, conduct daily meetings, and support the Farm

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Farm Supervisor to join our team based in Euroa VIC. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a key leadership role supporting the daily operations of our laying and rearing farm. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with 4 days on, 4 days off roster, giving you regular extended breaks to recharge and enjoy life outside of work. As a Farm Supervisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth, efficient and welfare-focused running of our poultry operations.

You’ll lead and support our team to maintain high standards of bird health, biosecurity, safety and productivity. While we ideally seek candidates with prior poultry supervisory experience, we also welcome applications from experienced Poultry Farm Hands who are ready to take their next step into a management role.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, train and motivate a team of 3-4 staff.
• Support the Farm Manager in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all aspects of laying and rearing poultry farm activities.
• Conduct daily team meetings and perform regular checks of staff performance and farm conditions throughout the day.
• Monitor and review data collection to identify issues and ensure accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with OHS policies, promoting a strong culture of safety and accountability among staff.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on animal welfare and productivity.
• Assist in managing bird growing requirements, maintaining high standards of farm presentation and operational excellence.

What We’re Looking For

While previous leadership experience is highly desirable, it’s not essential. We’re keen to hear from experienced Poultry Farm Hands with practical knowledge of farming operations, flock health, nutrition, housing, and equipment. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, able to lead from the front, and skilled at inspiring and motivating a team. You’ll bring:

• Proven experience in poultry farming (layer or rearing operations preferred)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• A solid understanding of OHS policies and a commitment to fostering a strong safety culture.
• Good practical farm maintenance abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
