Job summary

ezyCollect by Sidetrade in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Commercial Accountant to own finance operations across reporting, budgeting, audit and tax compliance within a growing SaaS/payments business.

You will lead process improvements, enhance controls, manage external audits, coordinate BAS/GST, and contribute to forecasting, with a clear pathway to a Finance Manager role within about a year.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in financial or commercial accounting
• CA or CPA qualified, or close to completion
• Strong accounting fundamentals with audit, tax and compliance exposure
• Experience with SaaS, payments, multi-entity environments is highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Improve finance processes, controls and audit trails across the function
• Lead and support ad-hoc finance and operational projects
• Coordinate external audit readiness and tax/compliance activities
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting across entities
