ezyCollect by Sidetrade in Sydney seeks a hands-on Commercial Accountant to own finance operations, governance and reporting in a growing SaaS payments business.

You'll lead process improvements, support audits and tax compliance, and collaborate across finance, operations and product. This role offers a path to a Finance Manager position within about 12 months, with hybrid office work and exposure to multi-entity reporting.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years' experience across financial accounting, commercial accounting or finance operations.
• CA or CPA qualified, recently qualified, or close to completion.
• Strong accounting fundamentals with exposure to audit, tax and compliance.
• Comfortable working beyond traditional accounting tasks and taking ownership of operational and project-based work.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with Xero, NetSuite, Power BI or similar systems is highly regarded.

Aufgaben

• Support day-to-day effectiveness of the finance function by identifying issues and opportunities to improve processes.
• Lead and support ad hoc finance and operational projects arising from growth, system changes, or new products.
• Review existing finance workflows and implement improvements to be more efficient, scalable and controlled.
• Strengthen finance documentation, procedures, approval workflows and audit trails.
• Support system and reporting improvements across platforms such as Xero and NetSuite.
