Job summary

Padua College on the Mornington Peninsula seeks a Learning Leader - Commerce (POL 2) for a 3-year tenured leadership role, combined with an ongoing teaching appointment. The role centers on guiding curriculum development, pedagogy, and staff development to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration required for teaching positions.
• Working with Children Check and National Police Check for non-teaching positions.

Responsibilities

• lead curriculum and program development and innovation in learning design.
• overseeing course provision to ensure exemplary pedagogy that engages students.
• overseeing the learning and teaching program and improving teacher performance in the Learning Area.
• administer the Learning Area effectively.
• perform other duties as requested by the Principal or College Improvement Team.
