Job summary

Links Golf & Wellbeing is seeking a Comis Chef to join our kitchen team at Hope Island Resort. You will deliver high-quality cafe, event, and dining experiences, working with a small brigade of chefs and kitchen staff.

Responsibilities include breakfast, lunch and event service, menu support, and food safety adherence in a vibrant, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a similar role with restaurant or club experience.
• Current Food Safety certification.

• Support smooth daily service during breakfast, lunch and events.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen workspace.
• Monitor stock levels, rotation, and minimising wastage.
• Work effectively with the wider F&B team to ensure great service outcomes.

POSITION AVAILABLE:

Links Golf & Wellbeing is seeking the services of a Comis Chef. The successful applicant will play an important role in our kitchen, working closely with the team to deliver exceptional cafe, event and dining experiences. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of food quality and working within a small brigade of Chef’s and Kitchen Staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals across café, events and golf-day menus.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Support smooth daily service during breakfast, lunch and events.
• Assist with menu preparation, specials, and seasonal offerings.
• Ensure all food is prepared in line with food safety, hygiene, and WHS standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen workspace.

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.
