Job summary

Flinders University Library invites applications for a Senior Librarian (Collections Engagement) to lead the development and delivery of engaging, accessible and discoverable physical collection experiences across the Library network. You will drive presentation initiatives, supervise staff, and foster a user-centred approach that supports learning, teaching, research and community engagement.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, project management and stakeholder engagement skills,

Qualifications

Experience leading staff and coordinating priorities.
Knowledge of collection presentation, wayfinding and resource discoverability.
Strong project management, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

Lead the curation, presentation and enhancement of physical library collections.
Coordinate collection refresh, relocation and engagement projects across Library branches.
Develop displays, showcases and collection-focused initiatives that promote discovery and user engagement.
Supervise and support a team while driving continuous improvement and service excellence.
