Job summary

Flinders University Library invites applications for a Higher Education Officer Level 7 to enhance the discovery, accessibility and delivery of Library resources and digital services across the University. You will work within the Digital Platforms and Services team, providing specialist expertise in Library systems and digital platforms to improve user experiences.

Qualifications

Experience administering, configuring and optimising library management systems, digital platforms and related technologies.
Knowledge of systems, technologies and processes that support discovery, accessibility and delivery of scholarly resources.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the ability to provide advice, guidance and training.
Well-developed analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities and contribute to service improvements.
A relevant university degree in Library and Information Science or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of experience/education.

Responsibilities

Leading the development, optimisation and maintenance of Library systems and digital platforms.
Driving projects and initiatives that enhance discovery services, digital access and user experience.
Improving workflows, integrations and processes to support efficient and effective service delivery.
Providing specialist advice, training and support while fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
