Job summary

Select Harvests is seeking an Operator Maintainer for our Cogeneration Power Plant at the Carina West Processing Facility. The role supports safe, reliable operation of steam boilers, turbines, and balance-of-plant equipment, on a 7 day on/7 day off roster.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot faults, assist with outage planning, and maintain accurate records while contributing to continuous improvement focused on safety and plant performance.

Qualifications

• Proven trade qualifications in mechanical/boiler systems.
• Experience with steam boilers, turbines, and pressure vessels preferred.
• Familiarity with safety standards and permits.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on power generation and plant equipment.
• Assist with operation, monitoring and optimisation of boilers, steam systems and turbines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and improve plant reliability.
• Support outage planning, shutdown activities and major maintenance projects.
• Work safely with site procedures and permits; maintain records.
