This full-time role offers 38 hours per week, a salary range of AU$80,000–AU$100,000 plus 12% superannuation, and requires at least 3 years of recent, verifiable experience in a similar role. Strong leadership and administrative skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma level qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of recent and verifiable work experience in a similar role.
• Sound discipline, operation and leadership skills.
• Strong administration, decision making, management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
• Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
• Promoting and advertising the establishment’s goods and services
• Selling goods to customers and replying to them on product inquiry
• Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
• Undertaking budgeting for the business
• Selecting, training and supervising staff
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
• Negotiating and liaising for bulk discount for purchase, promotion and supply arrangements with suppliers
• Designing and implementing pricing, marketing, promotional and display strategies
• Anticipating consumer trends and determining quantity, style and quality of goods to be purchased
• Monitoring sales data and stock levels and customer’s buying patterns of various categories
