Zusammenfassung

EnerMech is seeking a Coded or 1st Class Welder to perform high-quality welding, repair, and maintenance on fixed plant equipment in the Gladstone area. You will read drawings, follow WPS, and collaborate with boilermakers, mechanical crews and QA/QC to ensure safety and productivity.

The role requires trade qualifications (Boilermaker/Metal Fabricator), current welding certifications, a drivers licence, and ability to pass medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Qualifikationen

• Trade qualification – Boilermaker or equivalent.
• Current welding qualifications and/or coding certifications.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Construction White Card.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Australian working rights.

Aufgaben

• Perform coded welding on structural steel, piping, pressure equipment, and fixed plant assets.
• Maintenance, repair, and fabrication during shutdowns.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld procedures, and specifications.
• Work to approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Complete defect repairs and modifications as required.
• Collaborate with boilermakers, mechanical crews, supervisors, and QA/QC personnel.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and productivity.
• Support project teams to meet shutdown schedules and milestones.
