Job summary

NSW Health Pathology on the Central Coast invites dedicated Pathology Collectors to join our Collection Services team. This Temporary Part-Time role (22 hours per week) offers exposure across inpatient, outpatient and home care settings, performing venepuncture and specimen handling to support essential diagnostic services.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Pathology Collections and/or venepuncture experience.
• Excellent communication with patients, carers and staff.
• Ability to handle specimen collection processes and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a customer-focused pathology collection service across inpatient, outpatient and home care settings.
• Provide high-quality healthcare service to all referrers and consumers.
• Perform venepuncture and other duties pertaining to specimen collection, data entry, processing, and delivery into sites for pathology investigations as required.
