Job summary

Glegg Manufacturing in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Factory Hand/CNC Waterjet operator to run our Waterjet machines and support sheet metal production. This on-site role is 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30am–3:36pm with overtime when required and a 3-month probation period.

Onsite training will be provided and the successful candidate will join a family-owned business with 30+ years in the industry.

Qualifications

• Time management and organisational skills are essential.
• Liaise with customers when required.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to production needs.
• Experience with Waterjet cutting machines is an advantage.
• Forklift licence is required or to be obtained during probation.
• Experience with machine adjustments and calibrations is beneficial.
• Adherence to workplace safety standards and documenting production is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Waterjet cutting machines and monitor performance.
• Perform machine adjustments/calibrations as needed.
• Meet production targets and ensure documentation is completed.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and defects.
