Job summary

Guardian Building Products in Brisbane is hiring a Trainee Production Worker / Machine Operator. No manufacturing experience is required as full training will be provided. You will learn to operate modern production machinery while preparing customer orders and ensuring quality.

As you gain skills, you’ll be trained to set up machinery and work across different areas of the production facility in a friendly, small team environment. Gain practical, hands-on experience every day.

• Pack and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
• Engage in general production and warehouse tasks.
• As experience grows, set up and operate machinery independently.
• Progress across different areas of the production facility.

Trainee Production Worker / Machine Operator

Looking for a hands-on job where you can learn real skills and build a career?

Guardian Building Products is looking for a motivated person to join our production team. No previous manufacturing experience is required – if you're reliable, keen to learn and have a good attitude, we'll provide the training.

You'll get the opportunity to learn how to operate a range of modern production machinery while working with building products supplied to projects across Queensland.

What you'll learn

• CNC machine operation
• Panel saw and sheet processing equipment
• Working with fibre cement and compact laminate products
• Reading measurements, drawings and cutting lists
• Quality checking finished products
• Packing and preparing customer orders
• General production and warehouse work

As you gain experience, you'll be trained to set up and operate machinery independently and develop your skills across different areas of our production facility.
