Formex Group in Alfredton, Ballarat, VIC, is hiring a CNC Machinist/Programmer & Operator to join its precision machining team. The role covers programming, setup and operation of CNC machines, interpreting engineering drawings and applying the right tooling to deliver high-quality components.

You’ll contribute to process improvements, maintain production records in the ERP system and work with modern five-axis machines. A practical machining background and willingness to learn CNC are valued.

• Experience in CNC machining, setup and operation, or related background.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and meet technical specs.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Practical problem-solving and reliability in a manufacturing environment.
