Job summary

AEY & Associates in NSW seeks three experienced CNC Programmers / Machinists to join its advanced manufacturing operations in the Sydney region. You will develop offline CAM programs, optimise milling processes and support production on sophisticated machinery.

Experience in defence, aerospace or high-precision environments is highly regarded and you will contribute to projects ranging from precision components to large-scale parts with a focus on technical excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong offline CAM programming experience for complex CNC milling.
• Proficient in multi-axis programming including 5-axis and multi-spindle setups.
• Experience with tooling libraries, machine simulation and verification of CNC programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise offline CAM programs for complex CNC milling operations, including multi-axis and multi-spindle machinery.
• Create tooling libraries, machining strategies, setup sheets and complete manufacturing packages.
• Develop and validate CNC programs using machine simulation and virtual machining environments.
• Support CNC post-processor development, modification and optimisation.
• Manage CAM programming data, revisions and associated manufacturing documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve machining challenges and improve efficiency.
