Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ in Wellington NSW is seeking a skilled CNC Operator who can also program for a busy engineering workshop in Lower Hutt. This hands-on role involves operating modern CNC mills/routers to produce high-quality components for a fast-moving production line.

You will program CNCs using Fusion 360 or similar, perform part measurements against job sheets, and contribute to a safe, tidy workshop.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as CNC Operator with the ability to program
• Understanding of machining, tooling, feeds/speeds, and production workflows
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Reliable, mechanically minded, and safety‑focused
• Positive attitude and able to work well in a busy team environment

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills/routers safely and efficiently
• Program CNCs using Fusion 360 or similar, editing as needed
• Perform quality checks and measure parts against tolerances
