Job summary

Skill Engineering Pty Ltd in Cranbourne West, VIC, seeks an experienced CNC Machinist for turning and milling on Mazak machines, including 5-axis work, Mazatrol and Mastercam programming, and setup duties. You will perform in-process QC and dimensional inspections with a CMM, and work with minimal supervision, with overtime as needed.

Join a small, close‑knit team focused on prototype work and small batches, where a strong eye for detail and reliable time management drive quality and on-time

Qualifications

• Proven CNC turning/milling experience.
• Experience with Mazatrol programming and Mastercam.
• Ability to perform in-process QC and use CMM.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

About the role

CNC Turning/Milling machinist-Mazak /Programming - Master cam

Mazak Lathe -QT250-MY, Mazak Mill,

Experience in 5-axis CNC milling operations using Mazak VARIAXIS i-700 machines, including machine setup, operation and programming.

Ability to perform in-process quality control and dimensional inspections using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).

Job Planning

Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Minimum 3 year Experience
