Job summary

Kempe Engineering in Geelong is seeking a full-time CNC Machinist for our Precision Machining workshop to support growing contracts, maintenance and shutdown requirements.

The ideal candidate will hold an Australian recognised trade qualification (Fitter Machinist) and be proficient in CNC and conventional lathe/milling operations. Experience with Siemens, Mazatrol and Fanuc controls is a plus; must work safely in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Australian recognized trade qualification (Fitter Machinist).
• Solid understanding of HSE requirements and obligations.
• Competent in CNC and conventional machine operation (Lathe and Milling).
• CNC programming familiarity with Siemens, Mazatrol, and Fanuc controllers is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and team-working skills.
• Pass pre-employment medical and national police check.
