Job summary

Accurate Recruitment Pty Ltd. is seeking a reliable production operator for a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Brisbane. You will operate Press Brake, CNC, and Shearline machines to produce high-quality metal components.

Responsibilities include reading engineering drawings, using hand and power tools, and maintaining safety and cleanliness on the shop floor. Shift times are Day and Afternoon; pre-employment medical may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools (Essential).
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Good understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Reliable transport to and from work.
• Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
• Metalwork, fabrication, welding, or production experience.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the business.

Your Duties Will Include

• Operating Press Brake machinery to fold and bend sheet metal
• Manufacturing doors, trims, and components
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Using hand and power tools
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Working collaboratively within a production team
• Learning and operating additional machinery where required

What We’re Looking For

• To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Previous Machine Operating experience, ideally within manufacturing or engineering
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Experience using hand and power tools (ESSENTIAL)
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately
• Good understanding of workplace safety practices
• Ability to work with limited supervision

Shift Times

• Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
• Afternoon Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
