Talent in Sydney is seeking a CMDB & IT Asset Management Analyst to own CMDB accuracy and asset records within a mature ITSM environment. You will manage CIs, perform audits and drive continual improvements across lifecycle processes.

You will collaborate with technical teams, customers and suppliers to ensure assets and configuration data are recorded and maintained to ITIL standards, contributing to reporting and governance across complex enterprise IT.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years' experience in ITIL Configuration Management, CMDB administration or IT Asset Management within a medium-to-large IT environment.
• Hands-on CMDB record maintenance and managing Configuration Items (CIs).
• Sound understanding of IT asset lifecycles, configuration management and ITIL processes.
• Experience with CMDB data quality, reporting, reconciliation and audits.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.
• ITIL Foundation certification (v3 or later).
• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT Management, Business Management or a related field.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CMDB & IT Asset Management Analyst to join a well-established IT Service Management team based in Sydney.

This is a hands-on operational role focused on maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), managing IT asset records, supporting configuration audits and driving continual service improvement.

You will work closely with technical teams, customers and suppliers to ensure IT infrastructure and assets are accurately recorded, tracked and managed throughout their lifecycle.

• ITIL Foundation certification (v3 or later).
• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT Management, Business Management or a related field.

Highly Desirable

• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Discovery or Service Mapping.
• Experience with BMC or other IT Service Management platforms.
• Exposure to Power BI, SCOM, Nagios or ScienceLogic.
• Experience working within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or SIAM environment.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, including Azure, AWS or GCP.
