Job summary

You will work in a close-knit environment, handling inquiries and guiding clients with underwriting insight to ensure accurate coverage and timely responses.

As part of a collaborative team, you will assess risks, process endorsements and changes, and help improve workflows while upholding our values.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with members and clients.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time-management.
  • Proactive, autonomous and collaborative within a close-knit team.
  • Tier 2 qualification (or willingness to obtain with our support).
  • Solid understanding of underwriting standards and procedures.
  • Experience in client service, insurance operations, or a related role is valued.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to member and client enquiries via phone and email promptly and accurately.
  • Assess insurance risks and determine premiums, excesses and coverage per guidelines.
  • Process endorsements, cancellations, quotations, and referral requests efficiently.
  • Support Business Development Managers with product placement and urgent requests.
  • Maintain accurate member and policy records in compliance with underwriting rules.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows and service delivery.
  • Uphold NM Insurance values in every interaction.

  • A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close‑knit team.
  • Tier 2 qualification (or a willingness to obtain it with our support).
  • Solid understanding of underwriting standards and procedures, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Experience in client service, insurance operations, or a related support role is highly regarded.
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to member and client enquiries across phone and email channels.
  • Assess insurance risks and determine appropriate premiums, excesses, and coverage in line with underwriting guidelines.
  • Process endorsements, cancellations, quotations, and online referral requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Support Business Development Managers with product placement, member enquiries, and urgent operational requests.
  • Maintain accurate member and policy records, ensuring full compliance with underwriting and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows, enhance service delivery, and support smooth daily operations.
