Capricorn is seeking an Insurance & Risk Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of Members across the territory. You will retain existing business, identify new opportunities, and provide personalised insurance solutions by understanding each business's risks and needs.
In this hands-on, field-based role you’ll travel to meet Members, build genuine relationships, and deliver compliant, timely service while collaborating with internal teams to drive sustainable growth.

As Insurance & Risk Account Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of Members, retaining existing business and identifying new opportunities through proactive, personalised account management.
This is a hands-on, field-based role for someone who is comfortable meeting Members face-to-face, building genuine business relationships and becoming a trusted adviser. You will take the time to understand how each business operates, accurately assess its risks and challenges, and recommend insurance and protection solutions that meet its needs.
Working autonomously across your territory, you will balance time on the road with disciplined portfolio management, follow-up and compliance. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver responsive service, support retention and achieve sustainable growth.
We’re looking for a reliable, commercially minded insurance professional who enjoys being in the field, understands business and builds credibility through practical, customer-focused advice.
RG146 Tier 1 Accreditation is essential. A current Australian driver’s licence and the ability to travel regularly, including occasional overnight stays, are also required.
