Job summary

M.J. Bale is seeking a Cluster Business Manager to oversee three premium retail locations in Queensland, including Pacific Fair, David Jones Pacific Fair and Harbour Town.

This senior leadership role combines hands-on store floor presence with strategic oversight to deliver strong commercial results and exceptional customer experiences. You will drive sales, coach leaders, and foster a culture of service and client relationships across different store environments, with travel between sites and

M.J. Bale is looking for an experienced Cluster Business Manager to lead our Pacific Fair, David Jones Pacific Fair and Harbour Town locations.

This is a Tuesday-to-Saturday role for a strong retail leader who enjoys being close to the floor, developing teams and driving performance across different store environments.

Founded in Australia in 2009, M.J. Bale creates garments of integrity using quality natural fibres and expert craftsmanship. We’re a certified B Corp and Official Tailor to the Australian Test cricket team, the Wallabies and the Socceroos.

About The Role

Three locations, different customers and one consistently high standard.

You’ll take ownership of performance across the cluster, supporting store leaders and teams to deliver strong commercial results and exceptional customer experiences.

Your Day Will Include

• Driving sales, KPIs and profitability across all three locations
• Coaching store leaders and building capable, engaged teams
• Creating a strong culture of service, styling and client relationships
• Identifying opportunities and turning them into clear actions
• Maintaining high standards across presentation, stock and operations
• Supporting workforce planning, recruitment and team development
• Building effective relationships with David Jones and internal stakeholders
• Moving between locations to stay close to the teams and trade

About You

• Experience in premium fashion, menswear or luxury retail will be highly regarded.
