Job summary

M.J. Bale is seeking an experienced Cluster Business Manager to lead three locations (Pacific Fair, David Jones Pacific Fair and Harbour Town). This role runs Tuesday to Saturday and requires hands-on leadership, team development and a focus on delivering strong commercial results and exceptional customer experiences.

You will own performance across the cluster, coach leaders, manage trade movement between sites and build lasting relationships with key partners to uphold three-site standards.

Qualifications

• Multi-site, cluster or senior store management experience.
• Proven record of improving sales and store performance.
• Strong coaching skills and the ability to develop future leaders.
• Commercial confidence and sound decision-making.
• Experience building lasting customer relationships.
• Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail.
• Availability to work Tuesday to Saturday and travel between locations.
• Experience in premium fashion, menswear or luxury retail will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Driving sales, KPIs and profitability across all three locations.
• Coaching store leaders and building capable, engaged teams.
• Creating a strong culture of service, styling and client relationships.
• Identifying opportunities and turning them into clear actions.
• Maintaining high standards across presentation, stock and operations.
• Supporting workforce planning, recruitment and team development.
• Building effective relationships with David Jones and internal stakeholders.
• Moving between locations to stay close to the teams and trade.
