Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with AWS experience, Python or Go skills, and a strong Linux foundation. You will develop custom software components, integrate open-source code, and contribute to big data/cloud initiatives.

Hybrid work is available, with some in-person collaboration at our Columbia, MD office. The ideal candidate will design and implement core architecture from prototype to production, automate infrastructure with IaC, and participate in CI/CD efforts while

Qualifications

• Security clearance – U.S. citizenship required.
• 2+ years with Bachelor in related field, or 0 years with Masters, or 6 years with HS diploma.
• Experience developing and deploying infrastructure in AWS.
• Experience with Kubernetes (or vendor flavor), Ansible, storage layers.
• Proficiency in Linux systems and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a systems integrator to enhance, optimize, or harden an existing code base.
• Design and implement core architecture for software from prototype to production.
• Define, build and manage virtual infrastructure in the cloud using IaC.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
• Adapt to hybrid work model and collaborate with Architects.
