Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer with Go programming and a strong Linux foundation to develop and integrate cloud-based components for big data solutions. The role requires hands-on work in AWS, automation with infrastructure as code, and collaboration with architects.

You will work in a hybrid environment, spending 1–2 days per week at the Columbia, MD office, contributing to core architecture from prototype to production while ensuring security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or Software Development (Go) with Bachelor's in related field
• Or 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field
• Or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy infrastructure in AWS
• Design and implement core architecture for software from prototype to production
• Collaborate with Architects to meet broader strategic goals
• Work in a hybrid environment with in-person collaboration 1–2 days/week at Columbia, MD office
