Job summary

Vix Technology, based in Melbourne, is seeking a motivated Cloud Operations Engineer to optimize and maintain Vix products across various environments. You'll be responsible for technical support, deploying AWS solutions, and ensuring operational excellence. Ideal candidates have AWS experience, scripting skills, and a grasp of DevSecOps principles. Enjoy a supportive culture with a focus on learning and collaboration. Eligible applicants must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency and be able to work on-site 3 days a week.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in AWS cloud-native configuration and support.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, and networking concepts.
• Practical experience with a scripting language such as Powershell or Python.
• Experience with cloudformation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Understands best security practices and ITSM Frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support around daily operations and security.
• Deploy solutions on the AWS platform and resolve problems.
• Advise and support the Engineering team in a DevSecOps culture.
• Create and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Curate internal knowledge base for operational accuracy.
