eTeam is seeking an Senior Infrastructure Architect to lead cloud architecture across test, development and production environments in Australia. You will drive migrations, design integrations, and optimize cloud costs, while delivering key technical artifacts and ITIL-aligned processes.

We expect 11+ years of IT experience, with deep Azure/VMware NSX-T expertise, strong leadership, and excellent communication to liaise with business and tech teams.

Qualificações

• 11+ years of IT experience.
• 10+ years directing large Data Center, Cloud, or Infrastructure Transformation programs.
• End-to-end Program and Project Planning experience in data center or cloud transformation projects.
• Public Azure and Private cloud (VMware NSX-T) experience.
• Experience with infrastructure automation technologies.
• Experience architecting End User Computing solutions.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee cloud infrastructure design and develop detailed architecture models for test, development, and production environments.
• Plan for system and application migrations to the cloud.
• Develop and document technical designs for integration and implementation of new cloud applications and systems.
• Optimize cloud costs by identifying waste and automating cost management.
• Lead development of technical artifacts (RTM, Detailed Technical Design, Security Architecture Plan, Services Description Document).
• Plan and develop ITIL-aligned support processes.
• Communicate effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Integrate with non-cloud technologies and third-party vendor products/services.
• Assess emerging technologies and advise on investments based on price vs. performance.
• Ensure highly available and fault-tolerant deployments.

Knowledge and Experience

• Demonstrable experience developing Infrastructure architecture in large, complex, and critical IT environments
• Experience working within Architecture teams, utilising frameworks, and Architecture governance processes.
• Demonstrable experience in Public (Azure preferred) and Private cloud (VMware Cloud Foundation and NSX-T) implementations
• Knowledge and/or experience with containerisation in public or private cloud
• General knowledge and/or experience with network technologies, such as Palo Alto firewalls, F5 load balancers, Ingress Controllers, and routing.
• Demonstrable experience of Infrastructure automation techniques and technologies, such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, and or VMware realise Automation
• Demonstrable experience of architecting End User Computing solutions
• Ability to present and communicate both business and technical concepts
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and consultative skills with business and technical groups
• Ability to think critically and solve problems

Skills /Competencies

Essential

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience
• At least 10 years of experience in directing and driving multiple large Data Center, Cloud, or Infrastructure Transformation programs
• At least 10 years of experience in end-to-end Program and Project Planning, execution including experience in Data center or cloud transformation projects and programs
• Developing, measuring, and reporting on success of the program
• Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners
• Monitors program results against technical specifications.
• Achieve results through others by setting and communicating goals and metrics, monitoring progress; providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and reinforcing behavior that drive high performance.
