Wesfarmers Limited is seeking a senior infrastructure and cloud engineer to lead the modernisation of cloud and hybrid platforms in Australia. You will drive automation, IaC and platform engineering at scale, mentoring engineers while shaping secure, scalable technology services for Corporate Office.

The role focuses on migrating on‑prem to Azure, cloud governance, and leading engineering teams across the Wesfarmers Corporate Office. A strong Microsoft and Azure background is essential.

Qualifications

• Hybrid infrastructure experience in Microsoft environments (Windows Server, AD, VMware) and Azure.
• Proven cloud modernisation experience migrating on‑prem to Azure.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code and automation skills with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Microsoft Azure & 365 platform knowledge, including identity services.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior technical leadership across Wesfarmers' cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Lead migration and transformation of traditional infra into a modern cloud operating model.
• Establish and enhance IaC, CI/CD and automation using Terraform, Bicep, Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Embed security‑by‑design principles across cloud platforms and ensure governance.
• Drive technical delivery, design assurance and vendor oversight for cloud initiatives.
• Mentor engineers and uplift cloud, automation and platform engineering capability.
