Job summary

SEEK is seeking a Cloud FinOps Engineer to help engineering teams optimize cloud spend and strengthen governance. You will work across Engineering, Platform, Operations, and Finance to forecast, optimize and govern cloud costs, using data analysis and automation to generate actionable insights for the business.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with cloud cost management, AI tooling, and cross-functional collaboration to drive cost efficiency at scale.

Qualifications

• G学历：Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, finance or equivalent.
• Proficient in scripting or coding languages (Python, Bash).
• Experience with cloud cost management tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing).
• Experience with data analysis tools and BI dashboards (QuickSight, SQL, BigQuery, Looker, Tableau).
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on cost optimization opportunities.
• FinOps experience with cloud cost management and accounting processes.
• Clear communicator with the ability to present to leaders.
• Collaborative, growth-oriented with familiarity in Agile/DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Drive cloud cost optimization including rightsizing and waste reduction.
• Develop dashboards and insights on cloud spending, cost trends, and financial performance.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance and other stakeholders to align usage with budgets.
• Participate in architecture reviews to ensure cost-efficient solutions early in the lifecycle.
• Leverage AI tooling to automate insight generation and FinOps at scale.
• Establish and automate recurring FinOps governance policies and processes.
• Investigate cost anomalies and fix them so they stay fixed.
• Promote a cost-aware culture by delivering FinOps workshops.
