Capgemini currently seeks a skilled Cloud Engineer to design and operate automated cloud platforms across AWS and Azure. You will build IaC, pipelines, and landing zones to enable secure, scalable deployments for enterprise environments.

You will collaborate with security and operations teams, implement governance, and document configurations and runbooks. The role supports hybrid work within Australia and offers a comprehensive rewards package.

Your Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS and Azure) and strong capabilities in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This role focuses on delivering secure, scalable, and automated cloud platforms, supporting on-premises to cloud migrations, and enabling standardised, repeatable deployments across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated provisioning and configuration.

Implement automated deployment pipelines and support CI/CD-driven delivery models.

Contribute to landing zone implementation and platform standardisation across AWS and Azure.

Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.

Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to best practices, standards, and governance frameworks.

Work with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and regulatory requirements.

Maintain documentation for designs, automation scripts, and operational procedures.

Required Technical Skills:

Understanding of hybrid and multi-cloud environments

Terraform (preferred multi-cloud IaC tool)

Configuration management (Ansible)

CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications

Networking

NSGs, security groups, routing

Hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect)

Load balancing and DNS

Security & Governance

RBAC, identity federation, least privilege access

Security services:

AWS Security Hub

Compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, ISO)

Observability, alerting, and logging frameworks

Preferred Qualifications:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate preferred)

Experience in multi-cloud and automated cloud environments

Strong understanding of IaC-driven and DevOps delivery models

Experience working in Agile environments

Strong communication and collaboration skills
