Job summary

Kids Research Institute Australia in Perth is seeking a Research Assistant to support a multidisciplinary program focused on pediatric respiratory health. You will participate in participant recruitment, data collection, and study administration, contributing to all stages of the research process.

The role is primarily clinical and participant-facing with occasional laboratory duties, based at Perth Children’s Hospital, Nedlands, for an initial 2-year period. Full-time with hybrid options.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Health Sciences or related discipline is required.
• Experience in clinical research or data management is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen and schedule participants for research studies.
• Conduct respiratory and lung function assessments.
• Collect clinical and physiological data using questionnaires and approved tools.
• Collect and process biological samples.
• Support ethics submissions, literature reviews and research outputs.
