Job summary

Uniting Eden in NSW is seeking a registered nurse to lead resident care, develop and evaluate care plans, and work closely with medical and allied health teams to ensure residents receive high-quality, person-centred care.

You will supervise Personal Care Workers, advocate for residents’ quality of life, and contribute to a compassionate, respectful and bold care culture while pursuing ongoing professional development and a transition-to-practice pathway.

Qualifications

• You’ll hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
• Ideally, you\'ll have previous registered nursing experience in aged or community care or a passion to begin a career in aged care if you have nursing experience in the wider health sector.
• You’ll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a great time manager, and able to live Uniting\’s everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold.
• You’ll be committed to contemporary aged care nursing practice.

About Uniting Eden

Like any small town, everyone knows everyone at Uniting Eden.

There are four separate households, each with between 12 and 30 residents, and a Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia.Our team ensures that the community is thriving and doing things that are meaningful and enjoyable.

This supportive program is designed to build confidence, enhance clinical skills, and provide a strong foundation for a rewarding career in aged care

• Above-award pay rates (up to $54.19 per hour) and maximum allowable salary packaging to pay less tax (additional $18,550 tax-free plus regional benefits plus parking)
