Job summary

Serco is seeking an experienced Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator to drive governance, QA, accreditation and continuous improvement across our healthcare services.

The role focuses on clinical risk, incident management and compliance with standards and policies, partnering with multidisciplinary teams to foster safety and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Registration as Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
  • Postgraduate or tertiary qualification in Quality Management/QA or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with clinical auditing, accreditation frameworks (RACGP/NSQHS).

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance on clinical risk, governance and incident/complaint management.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and accreditation activities.
  • Support compliance with standards, legislation and policies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote safety and improvement.

Job description

Are you passionate about clinical excellence, quality improvement, and patient safety?

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Quality & Compliance Coordinator to play a key role in driving clinical governance, quality assurance, accreditation, innovation and continuous improvement across our healthcare services.In this role, you will provide expert guidance and support on all aspects of clinical risk, governance, incident and complaint management, and quality healthcare delivery, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards, legislation, and organisational policies. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Full time/part time option available based in Wooroloo, WA.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a motivated healthcare professional who can combine clinical expertise with strong analytical and quality improvement skills.

Ideally, You Will Have
  • Current and unrestricted Division 1 Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA
  • A tertiary qualification in Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or a related discipline, or demonstrated experience in a similar quality and compliance role
  • Experience in clinical auditing, quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and accreditation frameworks, including RACGP and/or NSQHS Standards
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and synthesise data, identify trends, and translate insights into meaningful improvements through reports, presentations, and submissions
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Well-developed critical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
